There are two types of activities that Novell Pharmaceutical Laboratories continuously explores with potential partners: contract manufacturing for international market and licensing for Indonesian market.

Export and Contract Manufacturing

With a wide range of available products in its portfolio, there are two methods Novell is capable to serve international market with a very competitive pricing and good quality product that complies with GMP standard:

1. Novell exports its own products through partners in different countries;
2. Novell provides contract-manufacturing services for its buyers internationally using the buyers' brand name.

The typical procedures are:

• potential principal provides Novell with a list of products that they are interested in to be manufactured in Novell's factory;
• Novell will provide the proposed pricing with a minimum quantity;
• Both parties sign a confidentiality agreement that will be followed by contract manufacturing agreement;
• If required, Novell will prepare a registration dossier and submit to the partner;
• Start of production and delivery of product to the buyers.

Novell's products have a complete documentation on stability and validation data.

Novell's new factory expansion which is constructed based on Australian TGA Guidelines, is ready for production in June 2003 and capable of producing different preparations such as: tablets, capsule, liquid and sterile preparations (vial & ampoule).

Licensing for Indonesian Market

Novell provides marketing services for international company wishes to penetrate Indonesian market for their products.
